Beyond the Code
Outside of engineering, I'm usually planning my next trip — I've explored 13+ countries so far and counting. Being Mexican and Chinese, food is a big part of how I connect with culture, and you'll rarely catch me turning down spicy food or fresh seafood. When I'm home, I'm happiest hiking, at the beach, or spending time with family. As a first-generation college student raised by immigrant parents, I've learned that curiosity and persistence take you far — on the trail, in the kitchen, and in code.
My faith is at the center of who I am. My identity in Christ gives me the conviction to lead boldly, take risks, and build things that outlast me — whether that's a product, a team, or a community. I care deeply about serving others, and I try to lead by example in everything I do: showing up with integrity, investing in people, and pointing to something bigger than myself. That same drive to build and serve shows up in how I invest in my church community, not just in the code I ship.
